To Find us ...

If you are coming from the Strip, you can catch a taxi, use the road train, or walk to Albufeira Old Town.
There is a taxi rank at the top of the Strip between Sinatra's Bar and the Montechero Hotel (which is facing you at the very top). A taxi to the Old town costs about 5 to 6 Euros. Ask to be dropped at the taxi rank in the Old Town. When you get to the Old Town, you will see a gap through the buildings on the opposite side of the road. Go through this gap to Bar Street.
The train stop for the road train is located on the lower half of the Strip, in one of the roads, that turn off it, on the right hand side as you walk down. It costs around 2 Euros per head. It takes the coast road to the Old Town and takes about 20 minutes. The return journey takes longer as it takes an inland road. When it gets to the Old Town, follow the main road around the bend and look for the gap into Bar street facing you.

Whether you go by taxi or train, turn right when you get into Bar Street and look up. If you are heading in the right direction, you will see the Irish flags hanging from the windows of Flannery's on your left. Turn into the Comercial Centre at the flags and Flannery's Irish Bar is on the second floor facing you at the top of the stairs.

If you decide to walk from the Strip to the Old Town, be warned, it is a good half an hour walk if you walk fairly quickly ! Probably the quickest route would be to follow the Strip right to the very bottom, then turn right onto the coast road. Follow this road for probably a mile and a half and you will come eventually to a steep flight of steps that lead down to Fisherman's Beach. Follow the main streets from the beach to Bar Street.

If you are in the Old Town, just find the liveliest street, that leads off one corner of the main square. This is Bar Street. If you enter this street from the square, Flannery's is on your right. remember to look out for the Irish flags.

We hope these directions will guide you to us and we can welcome you to Flannery's in the near future.
