Who are we ? Flannery's is a family owned Irish bar that is also family run, by my wife, Veronica and myself.
The bar has been open since 2004 and we have seen thousands of customers walk through the door during that time.

My name is Michael Flannery and I am a native of Wexford in Ireland.
There's nothing I like more than meeting the many people, of all nationalities, that visit us here at Flannery's. From the marvellous conversations I have with our customers at the bar, to the sing songs that ususally begin at some point in the evening, I revel in the craic that visitors bring to the bar.
Over the years, I have lived in Ireland, England and Australia as well as Portugal so I have many stories to tell those customers that come into Flannery's and similarly our customers, from all corners of the globe, have many wonderful stories they tell us.

My wife Veronica hails from England and is my "rock". She is the one who makes sure that everyone is being looked after while I prance around the bar with my guitar.

Talking of guitars, it's guaranteed that, most evenings, I can be seen with one of my trusty guitars in hand, singing away to one of my increasing repertoire of songs. And that's where you come in. We need you to join in with the craic. And if you're a good singer or play guitar, we'd love to see you air your talents in Flannery's.

We have become known as the sing song pub because of the way our customers rise to the occasion and sing, or just clap, along to the music.

Often, when the fun really gets going, we push the tables aside and everyone gets up to dance. We have seen many a River Dancer grace the Flannery's floor.

Be sure to watch out for the "Flannmobile" as you are walking around Albufeira. You can't miss it !!

Need to know the name of a good restaurant in Albufeira ? Where the best beaches are ? Or maybe you need directions to the Strip or a nearby town ? Then just ask Veronica or myself.

If you need to know anything about Flannery's bar or information about Albufeira, then pop into the bar, phone us or send us an email, and we'll be only too glad to help you.

We both look forward to meeting you soon at Flannery's Irish Bar.
